du Launches AI-Powered SME Platform With Peko
UAE telecom provider du has introduced du Launchpad, an AI-powered platform designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) manage accounting, payroll, invoicing, corporate tax filing, and regulatory compliance. The service was developed in partnership with software company Peko and is offered under du’s business portfolio.
The launch reflects a growing push in the UAE toward digital tools that can simplify back-office operations for smaller businesses, many of which must navigate increasingly complex administrative and compliance requirements.
Platform combines finance, HR, and compliance tools
du Launchpad brings together a range of business management functions into a single platform. According to the company, the service includes accounting solutions, human resources management systems, corporate tax filing, invoicing tools, and integration with WhatsApp Business.
The platform is intended to reduce manual work by automating parts of administrative and financial workflows. It also includes government filing support and PRO services, which are often required by businesses operating in the UAE.
To support cost optimisation, du has also introduced a premium bundle that provides access to the five most requested services on the platform. The company says this bundling approach is aimed at lowering operating costs while helping businesses stay compliant with regulatory obligations.
Targeting SME compliance and operational challenges
SMEs in the UAE often face pressure from tax requirements, workforce administration, and ongoing regulatory tasks. These challenges can be especially burdensome in sectors such as retail, professional services, healthcare, and logistics, where operational demands are high and internal resources may be limited.
du said the new platform is designed to address these pressures by consolidating administrative, compliance, and operational tools in one place. The company added that the service can reduce financial risk through dedicated compliance support and improve efficiency through AI-powered automation.
Karim Benkirane, CCO at du, said the platform brings essential services together in one environment and automates key workflows so business owners can focus on their core activities rather than day-to-day operational tasks.
Kashif Khan, Founder and CEO of Peko, said the partnership is intended to help businesses remain agile and resilient through smart compliance and automation.
Available through MyAccount portal
The company said du Launchpad is now available to existing business customers through the MyAccount portal. The rollout adds to du’s broader business services offering and positions the telecom provider further into digital SME enablement.
While du is best known for telecommunications, the launch shows how large service providers are increasingly expanding into digital business tools that go beyond connectivity. By combining automation, compliance support, and financial administration features, du Launchpad aims to give SMEs a more integrated way to manage essential business functions.
Industry Analysis
The introduction of du Launchpad highlights rising demand among SMEs for simplified, all-in-one digital platforms that can reduce administrative burden. In markets where compliance requirements are becoming more demanding, tools that combine accounting, tax, payroll, and filing services may become increasingly attractive to business owners seeking efficiency and cost control.
For the broader fintech and SME services ecosystem, the launch also signals stronger convergence between telecom infrastructure and business software. Partnerships such as du and Peko’s may become a model for future offerings that package automation and compliance into accessible digital services for small businesses.
