KamelPay Launches AbsoluteCard for UAE Corporate Payments
KamelPay has introduced AbsoluteCard, an integrated corporate payments platform designed for businesses in the UAE. The new solution is aimed at helping companies handle rising administrative demands linked to the country’s recent corporate tax and e-invoicing requirements.
Accessible through both a web portal and a mobile app, AbsoluteCard combines spend management tools with a Mastercard-powered corporate card. The platform is intended to give finance teams greater control over company payments, approvals, and transaction visibility in one system.
According to KamelPay, the product supports the issuance of physical and virtual cards, allowing businesses to create payment tools instantly and assign specific budgets to employees or teams. The platform also enables real-time transaction monitoring, which can help improve oversight of company spending.
In addition to card-based controls, AbsoluteCard offers the instant creation of multiple virtual IBANs. This feature is designed to help businesses separate funds across different entities and projects, making it easier to track financial activity and improve internal reporting.
The solution also includes a single sign-off portal for centralized approvals and real-time fund loading, allowing teams to allocate budgets as needed. KamelPay said these functions are intended to reduce the time finance teams spend on manual reconciliation and administrative tasks.
Ehsan Rahman, Co-founder and CEO of KamelPay, said the company created AbsoluteCard with the goal of modernizing corporate payments in the region. He said the platform was built to provide better tools for finance teams, rather than simply digitizing older workflows.
Rahman added that the system is also designed to support banks and financial institutions, which can offer the product to their own clients without needing to build the underlying infrastructure themselves.
KamelPay developed AbsoluteCard as a plug-in offering for banks, exchange houses, and other financial institutions. This distribution model is intended to make it easier for partners to scale corporate spend management services across their client base.
Mawarid Finance sponsors the card, giving the product an additional financial partner in its rollout. KamelPay said the platform could support a broader shift in business payments across the GCC, where companies are increasingly looking for digital tools that improve control, visibility, and compliance.
Industry Analysis
AbsoluteCard enters the market at a time when UAE businesses are adapting to more complex reporting and compliance requirements. Solutions that combine payment controls, virtual IBANs, and approval workflows are likely to attract attention from finance teams seeking to streamline operations and reduce manual work.
The platform’s partner-led distribution approach may also be significant. By positioning AbsoluteCard as infrastructure that banks and exchange houses can offer to clients, KamelPay is targeting a broader market without requiring institutions to develop similar systems internally. This could support wider adoption of corporate spend management tools across the region.
