Mashreq Launches Automated Everyday Cashback Programme with Visa
Mashreq has partnered with Visa and AI-powered commerce firm RezolveAi to introduce a new Visa Card Linked Offers programme called Everyday Cashback. The fully digital initiative is designed to provide Mashreq cardholders in the UAE with automated cashback rewards across hundreds of local and international merchants.
According to the announcement, the programme uses advanced analytics to personalise offers based on customer spending patterns. The cashback experience is integrated into Mashreq’s app, allowing users to track cashback transactions directly within the banking platform. The bank said the digital format is intended to create a more transparent and seamless rewards experience for cardholders.
The launch expands Vantage, Mashreq’s existing credit card rewards scheme. With Everyday Cashback, the bank is aiming to make both debit and credit card usage more rewarding by offering card-linked incentives that operate automatically at the point of sale and beyond.
Personalised Offers Across Merchants
RezolveAi’s technology powers the programme by embedding personalised offers into the payment journey. The system is intended to help connect cardholders with relevant merchant promotions without requiring manual activation of discounts or cashback deals.
For participating retailers, the programme is expected to support data-driven targeting and help drive incremental sales by reaching a wider consumer base. The partnership positions the cashback offer as both a customer engagement tool and a merchant acquisition channel.
Chiraag Jogia, Global Head of Customer Value Management at Mashreq, said the initiative reflects the bank’s focus on improving the everyday banking experience through a customer-centred rewards proposition. “At Mashreq, we remain committed to elevating the everyday banking experience for our customers. Through our partnership with Visa, we have created a seamless rewards proposition designed around the customer,” he said.
Salima Gutieva, VP and Country Manager for UAE at Visa, said the launch points to growing demand for card-linked offers in the market. She added that the programme demonstrates how collaboration and innovation can reshape everyday payments.
“The launch of this Visa Card Linked Offers programme with Mashreq demonstrates the strong demand for this type of proposition and shows how innovation and collaboration can transform everyday payments,” Gutieva said.
Digital Banking and Rewards Integration
The Everyday Cashback programme is fully digital, with cashback visibility built into Mashreq’s app. This approach aligns with the broader shift in financial services toward embedded rewards, real-time tracking, and more personalised customer experiences. By combining payment functionality with automated offers, the programme reduces friction for users and strengthens the role of banking apps as everyday financial hubs.
For Mashreq, the rollout also reinforces the bank’s strategy to enhance card usage while extending the value of its current rewards ecosystem. For Visa, the collaboration adds another card-linked offers initiative in the UAE market, where digital payment adoption continues to evolve.
Industry Analysis
The launch highlights how banks and payment networks are increasingly using data and automation to make loyalty programmes more targeted and easier to use. Card-linked offers can improve engagement because customers do not need to register manually for individual promotions, while merchants benefit from more precise customer targeting.
In the UAE’s competitive payments market, such programmes may become an important differentiator for banks seeking to deepen customer loyalty. The use of AI-enabled personalisation also reflects a wider industry move toward more intelligent, context-aware financial products that blend convenience with measurable value for both consumers and retailers.
